Craigslist Scams

Craigslist Scams

Other kinds of Craigslist Scams you may encounter

There are so many Craigslist scams out there your guaranteed to come across many different kinds of Craigslist Scams, and just to note, before I go any further this is all from personal research I have done on the site and Craigslist Scams that they have tried to pull on me. Ok so here is another scam I have seen more recently, Decal ads on the side of your vehicle, you will get an email form a major company saying they are paying people to help advertise for them by putting they're product decal on your car. they say they will pay you money up front and after a few days they will have a team come out to your house to decal your car. what they will do is send you a check for let's say, $1500 and they are paying you $600 for the ad decal you are doing for them. after you get the check you will go cash it and get your $1500, they will direct you to take the $600 and keep it and then they will want you to wire the rest of the money to the decal team using Western Union or some other kind of wiring service, later you will come to find out the check has bounced and you will have lost all of your money and will become a part of an investigation. please do your research before going through with any type of ad likely this as they are most like one of the infamous Craigslist Scams of today.

Thank you for reading my blog, hope you enjoyed it.

Craigslist Scams

Craigslist Scams and what you can do to avoid being a victim

Craigslist Scams often ask for your personal information
Often you will get an email with the sob story I mentioned earlier and they will ask you for personal information such as, Name, Address, Phone number, bank account info and many other things that I won't list. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFORMATION TO ANYONE!!! Craigslist Scams work because people are gullible in my honest opinion and the scammer tries to develop a kind of trust with you by softening you up with their story and also talking to you before they initially ask you for information so you want to be very mindful about who it is your talking to and what information you are giving them. but the whole sob story's are not always the kind of Craigslist Scams you will encounter.

Craigslist Scams: The personal ad scam

These ads are for girls looking for a date to less innocent activity but one you agree to talk to the girl she will ask that you go to a website so she can see that your actually a legit prospect to be talking to. She will give you a link to a website where you will be prompted to enter in some personal information which is always an indicator of these Craigslist Scams you want to look out for, you will then enter in your information and never hear from the girl but will start getting billed from a porn site while the scammer get's a commission for getting you to sign up, also you'll probably be getting a lot of porn in your email. so it's a sucky scam unless your super into porn and don't mind LOL.
